Indian missile miss-fired and fell 124 km inside Pakistan, Government of India expressed regret

On 10 March, Pakistan's defense spokesperson made an allegation that a supersonic cruise missile from the Indian side penetrated 124 km into Pakistan and exploded at a place called Meenchanu in Pakistan. Pakistan further said that the Indian missile hit the urban population and exploded.

Indian government admits to missile misfire

The Indian government's official response to Pakistan's allegations came. The Indian Defense Ministry issued a press release stating that on 9 March 2022, during routine maintenance of the missile, the missile developed a technical fault. Due to which there was an accidental firing of the missile. The Government of India has taken this error seriously and has ordered a High Level Court of Inquiry.

The Indian Defense Ministry further said that the missile has landed in an area of ​​​​Pakistan. It is a very regrettable incident, while it is a matter of relief that no casualties have been reported in this incident.

BrahMos supersonic cruise missile

The missile that accidentally fell in Pakistan is India’s BrahMos supersonic cruise missile. Which was launched from the Indian state of Haryana and fell in Meenachanu, Pakistan within about 3 minutes. The BrahMos Ramjet supersonic missile traveled at a speed of about Mach 2.8-3, reaching 124 km inside Pakistani airspace.

Second, Pakistan’s air defense system failed to capture and shoot down the BrahMos missile. Which proves that if there is a war between India and Pakistan. So the condition of Pakistan is going to be like that of Ukraine. Brahmos missile will destroy Pakistan in few minutes. Pakistan uses the Chinese-made air defense system HQ-9. Which proved to be junk in front of BrahMos missile.
